Chapter President
Hi everyone, my name is Kimi and I am the President of the Alpha Pi Omicron Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I have a B.A. in Sociology, as well as an A.S. in Biology from San Diego State University. I am currently completing the prerequisites for the Masters of Science Physician Assistant Program.

My name is Cait and I'm currently the Vice President of Leadership. I'm majoring in Social Work. My graduation is Spring 2022 with the goal of transferring to SDSU to get a Bachelors's and Masters's in Social Work.

Hello everyone I'm ecstatic to be a new member of PTK. I am currently studying psychology and I hope to transfer to SDSU to earn a bachelor's degree. I want to pursue higher education but I don't have a clear view of what career I want to seek. I joined PTK because of the inviting atmosphere and the devoted high achieving members. I also wanted to be a part of the Honor Society to help my community and work on my leadership, collaboration, and professionalism skills. One fun fact about me is I was fortunate enough to study abroad this past January. I was able to travel and experience the wonderful cultures of Spain, Germany, and France. I look forward to helping the Alpha Pi Omicron Chapter grow!

I'm Isabella Hernandez. I'm majoring in English and then graduating in 2021. I hope to transfer to a four-year university in the fall of 2021.

Hey, everyone! I’m Therese Garcia, the Community Relation Officer of Phi Theta Kappa. Basically, I’m taking Bio-Allied health at Cuyamaca College and planning to transfer to any CSU or SDSU. My current major is Nursing but planning to change to Dietitian because I see myself more passionate on dealing with food industry. Moreover, I recently joined PTK because I wanted to enhance my leadership skills and potential, to be prepared for actual work force. Lastly, I’m so excited to meet you all Coyotes and our future PTK members!!
MEBELLINE ASCENCIO

My name is Mebelline Ascencio. I'm majoring in Environmental Sciences. I'm planning to transfer to SDSU by the fall of 2022. I’ll be taking more than two years because I’m also working on getting an associate's degree from the Center of Water Studies.
LEANNE BROWN

Hi! My name is Leanne! I go to Cuyamaca College and also Grossmont College. My major is Social Work and I plan to get my Masters in it. I want to pursue this field of work because I want to work with victims of Sex Trafficking and help them in any way I can. Social work will be good for that because with that field of work I can get them resources and more things so that they can get the help they need to have a better life. I am very passionate about doing this and am excited to start it! I transfer next fall of 2021 to a university, I don’t know yet where I am going to transfer to but somewhere close to here! I will graduate around 2023 and have a Masters in Social Work! My transferring goals are to find a good school that is good with its academics and that also can support me in different ways with financials and more! I am so excited for the journey ahead!
